I let myself be tempted with an advertisement of a spa
with 25 meter swimming pool.
It’s right next door. Almost during the entire time
I have the pool and hot tubes entirely for myself. Wind blows steam from above
the water and whistles all around. It’s not exactly raining but water is in the
air and flows around. Warm water comes from Deildartunguhver, the most powerful
hot water spring in Europe. I went to see it on my first visit to Iceland. In
my opinion it is nicer to laze away in its water than to inspect it up close.
Hostel occupants are away, visiting the sights. I
find a good reading chair on the third floor and a table by the window on the
second floor where it is good to sit with computer. Use all of it, read, and
look at weather and road maps.
