I meet Mario in Arsenale at eight.
Next three and half hours we wander around Castello and take pictures on unsuspecting people. He goes over the settings of my camera and I learn a lot.
After parting him I visit Dali museum and Scuola Dalmata and then practice some of what I just learned.
In the evening is Rigoletto in Fenice. Fenice was first built in 1790 and burned last time in 1996. It was restored according to the Venetian principle 'com'era, dov’era', where it was and how it was. The lights are turned off during the performance nowadays.
