In Champasak we are mainly lazy.
That means sipping fruitshake on the balcony, looking out on the river, dozing off or reading. Of course we also check out Wat Phu, an ancient temple on the mountain side. Foggy sunrise. Next day we get bicycles and a narrow boat to visit Wat Tomo and Don Deng island. Wat Tomo are abandoned ruins of a 10th century temple. Cool trees and red insects. Don Deng is quiet and hot.
