A very busy and tiring day.
At ten I pick up my churches' ticket from Miracoli church. Have a look at the church as well. Salvadore and Christina are getting married.
Next it goes something like this:
SS Giovanni e Paolo church, Maria Formosa church, Doge palace,
Gallerie dell'Accademia,
Santa Maria del Rosario (Gesuati)
church, spritz, Guggenheim. The churches are like art museums and then there are the extra art museums. Mostly
Tizian, Tintoretto, Bellini, Veronese, Carpaccio.
Ippolito Caffi's 'Mist on St Mark's Square' looks like five black men in a dark room. Guggenheim is another world:
Picasso, Braque, Kandinsky, Picabia, Chagall, Miro, Dali and Max Ernst.
Luigi Russolo's mist is like Caffi's but blue.
Tourists should be entitled to siesta. But during this time they would close all the museums.
In the evening I join a ghost tour.
I'm telling you stories. Trust me (Jeanette Winterson).
