Once it gets light, Mallaig appears to be a nice harbor town.
Breakfast and a short ferry ride to Skye. It is sunny and colorful there, with rhododendron next to the road. We have time for a second breakfast near Armadale castle before the bus comes and takes us to Broadford.
Although the weather is lovely, we have decided to spend one more night in a house before hitting the trail. No rush. For acclimatization purposes we stay in Basecamp hostel.
