Ravenglass

I head for Ravenglass on the coast.
Romans were there in the 1st century and three rivers, Esk, Irt and Mite are there still. After wondering for some time what is the rhino's pass where the GPS tries to direct me I finally realize that this is the infamous Wrynose pass. No other traffic.
I park the car. This is always complicated. Look for the parking meter, find coins, try to guess how long you'll be gone, walk back to the car to put the ticket there. No mobile parking. But they also still have phone booths.
The weather does not look very good so I take the toy train up, walk to Blea Tarn, ride some more and walk some more. Loose the trail and climb over some fences.
Accommodation in a nice guesthouse in Ravenglass.
