cycling from Dalat to Hoi An

Dalat area was in my memory like a nice hilly country that it also in reality is.
I also remebered that the travel agent we used last time had a cycle trip on its list. The travel agent is still operating and the cycle tour is still running.
After touching down in Bangkok and Saigon we arrive in Dalat airport that smells of fresh air and flowers. Some things have moved, some have stayed in the same place.
The tour lasts for six days, mostly cycling, some parts driving in a car. More than half of the way goes through villages and towns with a bit more traffic than I would like. Outside inhabited areas are nice views and better air. The guide is friendly, the food monotonous. Some fried grasshoppers take care of culinary excitement. Foggy weather in the end leaves a truly tropical impression. Mostly it's cool weather, not too hot.
Stops at Lak lake, Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku, Kontum and Phuoc Son. Instead of finishing in Hoi An we catch a bus to Hue.
Next
rain in Hue and Ninh Binh
