Esfahan (or Isfahan), 'naqsh-e-jahan' that is 'half of the world'.
These few days we spent there showed many beautiful places and many English-speaking persons.
First there's the river with the old bridges. Then there are all the mosques, one more delicately ornamented than the other. Vank cathedral with all the Armenian diaspora around it. Some palaces. Lot of handicrafts and carpets. Zoroastrians. And of course the square itself, Naqsh-e-Jahan.
