Bárðardalur

Sun with strong wind.
Following a jeep track we fight the wind over the open space to go and have a look on Aldeyarfoss. Water pushes itself through an unfairly narrow opening into a wide canyon. Basalt columns stand gwisted on either side. All other tourists walk on fhe shore opposite where the columns can be photographed from a shorter distance. We can go there another day. Now we just sit behind a boulder and enjoy the view.
Back for coffee, books and chocolate with an occasional meal. The kitchen window keeps us in touch with the changing sky outside. Wind rambles alone on the roof.
